Industry Manager for Food Service Ware, NatureWorks, LLC
Nicole Whiteman has been Industry Manager for Compostable Food Serviceware and Rigid Packaging for NatureWorks LLC for the past 3 years. For 20 years prior to this her work at NatureWorks was in US or Global roles in technical service and applications development working with customers manufacturing food serviceware and rigid packaging. Nicole joined NatureWorks when the organization was still building the business case to construct the world’s first commercial scale PLA biopolymer manufacturing facility. She had previously worked 16+ years in Dow’s polyethylene research organization developing new products for food and specialty packaging applications. She has extensive experience innovating within the resin and plastics processing spaces to design and implement new resin grades for food contact applications within circular economy principles.
