Jerker Ligthart

Senior Chemicals Advisor, ChemSec.

Jerker Ligthart holds a Master of Science in Chemical engineering from Chalmers University of technology and currently works as senior chemicals advisor for ChemSec. During his time at ChemSec he has been responsible for the development of the SIN List, crafting it into a scientifically credible tool for the identification of Substances of very high concern (SVHCs). Currently he is the project manager for ChemSec Marketplace, a B2B “dating site” where companies looking for greener chemistry and safer alternatives to hazardous chemicals can connect directly with the solution providers.
