Are you responsible for chemical compliance within your organization and interested in developing proactive chemical management practices? Are you familiar with GreenScreen® for Safer Chemicals and seek to learn more about the method so you can apply it within your organization?  If yes, then consider learning all the elements of hazard assessment as defined by GreenScreen. Start with the GreenScreen Advanced Topics course and progress to the Authorized GreenScreen Practitioner Program!

What: The GreenScreen Advanced Topics course is ideal for technical professionals who want in-depth knowledge and expertise in GreenScreen assessments. This course is a great fit for individuals who are interested in the Practitioner Program but don’t have the time to dedicate to the more rigorous Practitioner program at this time, or are interested in evaluating whether the Practitioner program is right for them.

The Authorized GreenScreen Practitioner Program is designed for individuals who are interested in receiving in-depth training and developing expertise in performing high quality GreenScreen assessments. The Program consists of two components: the Advanced Topics course which is a deep dive into the GreenScreen hazard assessment method and the Practicum where students apply their learnings by performing a GreenScreen assessment while receiving feedback and coaching.

Why: These course offerings provide technical professionals a unique opportunity to strengthen their credentials while simultaneously helping their companies lead the way through the design of products and production processes that are safer for humans and the environment. As the need for alternatives assessment increases globally, in-house expertise in applying chemical hazard assessments will be an important measure of success and competitive advantage in this field.

When: The Advanced Topics course will run from March - May 2023, and the Practicum will from May - November 2023.

How: The Advanced Topics course is led by experienced GreenScreen assessors and meets on-line for eight, 1.5 hour sessions – students are provided homework to practice assessment methods and time is given for questions and discussions. During the Practicum, students develop a full GreenScreen assessment while receiving individualized feedback from CPA’s consulting toxicologist and discussing and asking questions during six on-line sessions.

Take Action: Apply for the Authorized GreenScreen Practitioner Program or register for the Advanced Topics course today!

  • Require analytic testing to ensure products are PFAS-free.
  • Prohibit over 2,000 other chemicals of high concern.
